Felt dishes are used for polishing with the addition of polishing compound.
Unitized dishes are used before polishing to take out scratches and imperfections - to flatten the surface ready for the felt dishes and the polishing stage.
Do not run these dishes over 12500 (max RPM)
Dishes will prematurely wear if spun too fast.
Wear eye protection and where possible use the safety guard on your grinder.
Non Woven and Black dishes are used alone without any compound.
Felt wheels must be used with compound, either cutting or polishing compound will work. Load by spinning against the bar of compound.
